Characteristics :Stainarc 308 is an AC/DC rutile coated stainless steel electrode with unique low moisture absorption coating which deposits low carbon 19 Cr, 10 Ni type metal. Weld metal suitable for high polish, excellent weldability characteristics and slag detachability. Weld beads are smooth, unifrom and of excellent appearance.

Applictions :Stainarc 308 is ideally suited for Weding of stainless steel of A ISI 301.302,304,308 and their cast versions used for hospital apparatus, aircraft frames, drugs and pharmaceuticals equipments. Apparatus for nitric acid, milk pump impellers and shafts, valve faces, valve seats snd chemical plants. steel of any thickness.

Precautions :Ensure that the electrodes are perfectly dru before use. In case of moisture pick-up redry the electrodes at 200'C. Clean the weld area thoroughly free of any surace contaminations.
